Before
uploading
files for
printing please
look at the
following:
Name
your files
in a logical
fashion
for printing.
Don't call
it "Final_Version
".
Stick to
names which
will make
sense to
people who
are not
familiar
with your
files. Please
do not use
special
characters
such as
"!@#$%\?/,
etc..."
All
fonts used
in the document
need to
be specified
or uploaded.
A common
misconception
is that
fonts are
part of
the document.
Fonts are
resident
on the origin
computer
and do not
travel with
the file.
If we don't
have exactly
the same
fonts installed,
your book
might not
print as
expected.
Graphics
used and
not embedded
need to
be uploaded
also.
Most professional
layout programs
like Quark,
Pagemaker,
Indesign,
Illustrator
and others
do not necessarily
embed placed
graphics,
instead
in order
to improve
performance
they simply
"link"
to the needed
graphic
and retrieve
it when
printed.
Please
compress
all files
into a single
package
to speed
upload and
help protect
the contents.
